Television Evangelists

I watch them all the time. They are the purest form of theives I have ever seen.
There are three major 'religious' networks I follow. Each one of them has a
"Praise a thon" to raise funds for their work! They never overlap nor compete against eachother. They each do this not once, but twice every year!
Coincidence or collusion? Give me a break, like I said,...theives!

9/11

I am alittle surprised by the recent comments that the events of 9/11/2001 will fade into nothing more than a date on the calendar. While I did not lose any friends or relatives, I have friends and relatives who lost friends and relatives!
Everyone talks about what they were doing, I only think about an email I got from my daughter that morning. "Dad, I'm trying to find Brian, is this World War Three?"
What little innocence was left in my children's generation was lost that day and to minimize the impact of that day, to me, is unconscionable (sp?).
I remember the day constantly, and pray for those personally impacted by such a tradgedy. I also hope and pray we never have to deal with another one.
